Converge's international tech event branding
A comprehensive branding based on the binary language of O and I. America, Europe and Asia
Future of Obsolescence Management (FOM) is an international event of Converge company that takes place in the USA and in Amsterdam in Europe. The event is focused exclusively on obsolescence management. With an annual conference, there is a balance needed to keep the brand alive but feeling fresh, especially for repeat attendees.
The 2019 conference theme was data security. The main element of visual identity we developed is data. It is displayed using the characters used in the binary language of O and I. This information forms a circle in a randomised cluster around the event information with some of the elements interconnected and aggregated. This combination of elements can also be shown as the bits of a whole just like the members of an orchestra that play together. The theme is modern and minimalist going away from previous years’ traditional and outdated design. Converge is all about innovation, creation and development and we wanted to convey that through the event branding of this year. Branding was applied to other event elements digitally as well as in presentations, badges, rollups and merchandising.
